2.Personal resume

From September 2007 to present, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Energy and Mining, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), as well as the head of the mining engineering major. He is also the leader of Mining Expert Group of the National Coal Mine Safety Acceptance, an evaluation expert of the Chinese Scholarship Council and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, an expert in the Coal Industry Technology Committee, an editorial board member of the Journal of Mining and Safety Engineering and the Journal of Mining Science, etc.

From September 2004 to August 2007, he had been a professor, doctoral supervisor, and dean's assistant at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing.

From May 2003 to August 2004, he had been a research scholar at the College of Engineering (Mining and Civil Engineering) at the Pennsylvania State University in the United States.

From January 1999 to April 2003, he had been a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Energy and Safety Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology, and the director of the Institute of Mining Pressure Research.

From January 1996 to December 1998, he had been an associate professor and master supervisor at the School of Energy and Safety Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology, and the deputy director of the Institute of Mine Pressure Research.

From January 1989 to December 1995, he had been a teaching assistant and lecturer at the School of Energy and Safety Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology.

5.Technology awards, honors, and patent implementation transactions

(1) He had been awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award as the first prize winner of the project "Monitoring system for roof and support quality in fully mechanized mining face" in 1996.

(2) Fulian HE had been awarded the National Commemorative Medal for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China in 2019.

(3) He had been selected for the first "Outstanding Young Teachers Teaching and Research Award", which is one of the important projects of the "High Level Creative Talent Project" in the "Action Plan for Revitalizing Education in the 21st Century", and won the first "Young Teacher Award" from the Ministry of Education in 2000.

(4) He had won the First Prize of the Security Technology Progress Award of the China Safety Production Association as the first prize winner of the project " The main roof fracture mechanism and asymmetric control technology of surrounding rock in the coal roadway along the gob of fully mechanized top coal caving in extra thick coal seams" in 2022.

(5) He had won the First Prize of the Hebei Province Science and Technology Progress Award as the first prize winner of CUMTB of the project "Research on the pushing anchorage and reverse support system for large section coal roadways in extra thick coal seams " in 2019.

(6) He had won the First Prize of the China Coal Industry Science and Technology Award as the first prize winner of the project " Circular collaborative control of large section roadway with water inrush in coal shale cavern group area " in 2012.

(7) He had won the First Prize of the China Coal Industry Science and Technology Award as the first prize winner of the project "Research on combined support technology of the prestressed truss anchor cable for large-span composite mudstone roof coal roadway " in 2009.

(8) He had won more than 20 second prizes in other provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards from 1992 to present.

(9) He had been awarded the first “Coal Science and Technology Award Young Talents” by the Ministry of Coal Industry in 1996.

(10) He had been awarded the Fourth “Science and Technology Award Young Talents” of Jiangsu Province in 1995.

(1) "Mine pressure control along goaf coal roadway", which was sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published by the Science Press in 2023.

(2) “Modern technology of mining engineering” (in English), which is a textbook for the 13th Five Year Plan of General Higher Education. It was sponsored and published by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Metallurgical Industry Press in 2020.

(3) "Destruction and control of coal roadways along the gob in fully mechanized top coal caving", which was sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published by the Science Press in 2020.

(4) "The mechanism and control of coal rib spalling in fully mechanized top coal caving faces with high mining height", which was sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published by the Metallurgical Industry Press in 2016.

(5) "Control Theory of Rock Strata in Mining", which was sponsored by the Teaching and Research Award Program for Excellent Young Teachers in Higher Education Institutions and the Research Initiation Fund for Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars of the Ministry of Education, and published by the Metallurgical Industry Press in 2009.

(6) "High yield and efficiency working face support - surrounding rock protection system", which was sponsored by the Coal Science Foundation, and published by the China University of Mining and Technology Press in 1997.

(7) "High yield and efficient technology in Chinese coal mines", which is a key book of the national "Ninth Five Year Plan". It was published by the China University of Mining and Technology Press, and Fulian HE was responsible for the thematic content of over 30000 words, in 2001.

(8) "Control of Surrounding Rocks in Chinese Coal Mines", which had won the second prize of National Excellent Science and Technology Book in July 1995 and the National Science and Technology Progress Award in December 1998. It was published by the China University of Mining and Technology Press, and Fulian HE was responsible for the thematic content of over 15000 words, in 1994.

(9) “The neural network decision-making system for anchor truss parameters”, which had been awarded the Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificate by the National Copyright Administration in 2010.

(10) There are more than 20 national invention patent certificates had been obtained.

(11) There are more than 20 national utility model patent certificates had been obtained.

7.Academic papers

He had published over 300 academic papers in total, including:①more than 160 SCI and EI indexed papers;②over 30 papers in the Journal of Coal Science and the Journal of Rock Mechanics and Engineering.

(4) He had been the leader of the project "Research on pipeline control of surrounding rock in adjacent gob coal roadway during fully mechanized caving mining of extra thick coal seams", which is a National Natural Science Foundation of China - General Project.

(5) He had been the leader of the project "Research on support and surrounding rock control in coal mining face", which is a Science and Technology Project of the Ministry of Coal Industry.
